ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:
  • To review Client supplied documentation, specification, design criteria, drawings and reports ;
  • To identify omissions to data required (if any);
  • To prepare/update the design data to be used for the FEED design of the structures, including List of applicable Codes, Standards, Specifications and Regulations;
  • List of environmental, geotechnical and seismological data.
  • List of main data and materials properties;
  • Accurate analysis of the geological and geotechnical data, examination of all the geotechnical aspects for a correct design;
  • To classify the soils typology according to the geological and geotechnical report in order to the proper technological choice;
  • Description of the design criteria applicable to various aspects of the design, for the temporary and the permanent condition;
  • To define all construction requirements (proper material selection, definition material package , etc..);
  • To define the typical roads section according to the design premises, boundary conditions and functional requirements;
  • To define Roads routing and geometry (maximum longitudinal slope, transversal slope, width, minimum inside radius);
The activity will be developed in conjunctions, and supported by, the other disciplines. The Activity will be carried out with a continuous check and monitoring of the interfaces with other disciplines and other Contractors, in order to ensure a the congruence of the performed FEED design activities with the overall project design process.
